Age Concern Wednesday Club

by Jean Templeman

The Club had a very happy outing to Carlisle last week via the Gretna Outlet and finished with tea at the Woodland House Hotel near Dumfries. Excellent weather made the day and thanks are very much due to the hard working Committee.

This week is the closing social but there will be a Summer Dinner on Wednesday 25th July and the club will re-commence at the end of August.

The club has enjoyed a sucessful year and the membership of almost 180 people bears witness to that.
