s1hurlford gets its very own Community Correspondent

We're very pleased to say that Jean Templeman has agreed to become Community Correspondent for s1hurlford.

Jean is well-known in the village as the local newspaper correspondent and through her involvement with the Community Council, Hurlford Tenants & Residents Association and more.

s1hurlford is still an open forum for anyone who lives in the area to talk about Hurlford life - if you live in Hurlford then this site is yours to post to.

But we're delighted that Jean has agreed to give Hurlford a hand by collecting and posting snippets of local news. It's a real service that Jean is doing for Hurlford, and we're extremely grateful. She isn't a professional journalist, just a member of the community doing her bit.

Jean said: "I am delighted to be able to extend what I already do for the KS as this is a great opportunity to promote Hurlford. I would appreciate all the help I can get from the people of Hurlford as it's so easy to register with s1hurlford and put news and views online."

If you want to get in touch with Jean, then phone her on 01563 530330 or e-mail her here.

Remember, though, that if you want to tell us all some news, make an announcement, or use any of the other facilities of s1hurlford, you don't have to wait for Jean to post it - this is your site, so just go ahead and post it yourself.
